Know Before You Go

Planning to attend an Orchestra Iowa performance? Here’s what you need to know to make your visit smooth and enjoyable.

For detailed ticket policies or venue rules, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Doors typically open one hour before showtime, with seating beginning approximately 30 minutes prior to the performance.

We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking, ticket scanning, and concessions.

Several public parking ramps and street parking options are available in downtown Cedar Rapids. More information can be found on the Park Cedar Rapids website

Guests are encouraged to allow additional time for parking during large events.

Tickets may be printed at home, displayed on a mobile device when available, or picked up at the Ticket Office.

If you have difficulty accessing your tickets, the Ticket Office staff will be happy to assist.

Outside food and drink are not permitted in any of our venues. Concession stands are open for most public events, and patrons can purchase water, snacks, sodas, and alcoholic beverages at the venue.

Food and drink are permitted in the auditorium on a show-by-show basis. Please watch for signs posted at the concession stands indicating which shows prohibit food and drink inside the auditorium.

To minimize disruption, late arrivals may be seated at an appropriate break in the performance.

Accessible seating and services are available. Please see our accessibility page for more information. If you require assistance or accommodations, please contact the Ticket Office at 319-366-8203 prior to your visit.
