Frequently Asked Questions

Tickets may be purchased online at ArtsIowa.com, by phone at 319-366-8203, or in person at the Ticket Office located at 119 Third Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids. Online ticket purchases are available 24 hours a day.

The Ticket Office is typically open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, hours may vary based on concert and event schedules. On performance days, the Ticket Office opens prior to showtime depending on the event.

  • Paramount shows and concerts: 3 hours prior
  • Orchestra Iowa concerts: 2 hours prior
  • Movies at The Paramount: 1.5 hours prior

All ticket sales are final. Artists, dates, programs, and performance times are subject to change without refund. Service fees may apply to ticket purchases.

If a performance is postponed, ticket holders may request a refund from the original point of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted at least 14 days before the rescheduled performance date.

Arts Iowa is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. If you believe your tickets have been misplaced, please contact the Ticket Office for assistance.

Tickets may not be resold above face value or used for promotional or commercial purposes without written permission from the issuer.

Audio or video recording is not permitted during performances. Still photography may be allowed for certain events if flash is disabled and it does not disturb performers or other patrons.

Children over the age of one must have their own ticket. Please review individual performance descriptions to determine if the event is appropriate for children. If a child becomes disruptive during a performance, guests may be asked to step into the lobby.

The following items are not permitted:

  • Outside food or beverages
  • Recording equipment
  • Professional cameras without authorization

Additional restrictions may apply depending on the event.

Please notify the nearest staff member immediately if assistance is needed. In the event of an emergency or evacuation, follow instructions from venue staff.
